You will be responsible for purchasing a parking pass if you choose to park on campus. Parking passes can be purchased through the University of Utah's Commuter Services. Parking on campus costs anywhere from $10/day to $20/day depending on which parking lot/payment method is selected. Full information and tutorials on buying parking passes can be found on the Commuter Services website. Check out the Maps tab of this page to see parking lots near SFEBB.

The story of the day SUU went into lockdown due to reports of an active shooter on campus. While it turned out to be a swatting incident, it was 3 hours of extreme uncertainty. Hear about the successes, challenges, reactions, and lessons learned. -

When crucial platforms glitch, freeze, or confuse, who do your student staff turn to? This session explores platform literacy as a teachable, confidence-boosting skill. As part of the Academic Recovery program at SUU, each student must meet with an Instructor (3 times) and a Peer Academic Coach (3 times) over the course of a semester. This presentation will cover what each meeting looks like, and we'll also have time to discuss best practices. -

For tutoring programs, having a formal assessment and reporting cycle can educate stakeholders about services and resources in ways that increase visibility and communicate programmatic value. This presentation will offer an overview, framework, and practical ideas for developing an assessment and reporting cycle. -
From Math Placement to Math Progress: How the Math Workshop Strategy Can Help Students Better Prepare for College-Level Math - SFEBB 5130

We will introduce a workshop strategy to address the high DFWI rate in developmental math courses and identify opportunities for further growth based on the data.
