Well-Being

Student success does not only include academics. It is important to also take care of yourself. The University of Utah has many resources for student well-being. Please make use of any of these resources if you need additional help.

Settings Goals for the Dimensions of Wellness Complete this activity to learn more about how you are doing in each dimension of wellness and set SMART goals for improvment. Download a copy of the Google Document or print it off to fill it in. 
Counseling Center Individual counseling, group therapy, workshops, etc.
Center for Disability and Access Academic and campus accommodations, assistive technology, captioning services, alternative formats, peer mentors, etc. 
Student Success Coaches Student Success Coaches are experts about the U of U community, student learning, and college student development.
Basic Needs Collective Feed U campus food pantry, access to healthycare, emergency funding, housing resources, etc.
Financial Wellness Assistance in making smart, informed decisions regarding personal finances.
Center for First-Generation Access Holistic support for first-generation college students. At the U we consider you a first-generation student if your parents, parent, or guardian did not complete a bachelor’s degree in the United States.
Dream Center Holistic support for undocumented students and mixed-status families.
Impact Scholars Support services for fostercare alumni.
Learning Consultations Schedule a free learning consultation to discuss how to implement these strategies.
Center for Student Access and Resources Assistance in navigating  student challenges and connecting students to essential resources. 
Center for Community and Cultural Engagement For students to connect, cultivate, and celebrate meaningful and vibrant communities, cultures, and multicultural education.
